The Problem
The stadium food offering needed an update to excite fans and become a standout feature of the stadium experience, while fitting within space and operational constraints.

The Solution
LKN worked with the stadium operator to develop a simple yet striking bolt on menu to add to their existing core menu. We created simple and effective 60-second training videos, enabling agency staff to quickly learn and execute the new menu items. We also designed standout assets across a number of kiosks to ensure fans were aware that Hot Chick was now available.
We partnered with the stadium operator to refresh the food experience for fans by introducing a Hot Chick specials menu. Football fans often look for quick and satisfying meals that complement the excitement of match day, and LKN’s goal was to offer something bold and unique while keeping operations efficient.
The menu was designed to fit seamlessly into the existing kiosk setup, with minimal adjustments required for preparation and service. Menu items were selected for their ease of execution and crowd-pleasing potential, ensuring that even during peak times, the kiosks could deliver high-quality food quickly. The specials included signature items from Hot Chick, known for its award-winning flavours and simple preparation process, which fit the fast-paced stadium environment perfectly.
To ensure smooth execution, we developed 60-second training videos and build graphic posters that allowed agency staff to quickly learn how to prepare and serve the new menu items. This was crucial for consistency, as stadiums often rely on temporary staff who need to get up to speed quickly. The training materials covered all the essential steps, ensuring that every customer received the same quality of service, regardless of who was working the kiosk.
Marketing played a key role in driving awareness of the new specials menu. We designed bold and eye-catching assets that were placed prominently around the stadium and kiosks, making sure that fans knew about the new food offering as soon as they arrived. The Hot Chick branding contrasted the football clubs team colours and integrated into the stadium with football-specific messaging that created excitement among fans, making them eager to try something new.
The impact was immediate, with kiosk sales doubled after the introduction of the Hot Chick specials. Fans responded positively to the new menu, providing excellent feedback on both the taste and quality of the food. This success highlighted the importance of offering new and exciting food options in a stadium setting, turning the food experience into an additional draw for fans.
Overall, the introduction of the Hot Chick specials menu not only improved sales but also enhanced the overall match-day experience, making the stadium a more appealing destination for food as well as football. Hot Chick is now looking to be rolled out, along with new brands, in more stadiums next football season.
